Rutgers University Voting Participatory Art Project
A participatory design project designed to increase student voter participation in the 2025 New Jersey gubernatorial election. Developed in collaboration with the Rutgers Center for Youth Political Participation and Scarlet Arts RX, the project translated civic engagement into a tangible, personal experience through a postcard-based installation on Rutgers New Brunswick campus. Students were invited to write down their voting plans and receive them back by mail after the event, turning intention into commitment.
I contributed to the concept development and was responsible for the spatial installation, postcard design, print production, hand-cutting, and on-site photo documentation.

Alongside the activation, the campaign successfully reached over 150 students through in-person conversations, voting plan creation, and on-site voter registration, extending civic engagement beyond passive awareness into direct participation.
In parallel, I collaborated with Zion Lim to design a series of social media graphics for CYPP, translating key election information into a clear and approachable visual system. Targeted toward Gen Z audiences, the system combined motion and static Instagram posts, using a non-partisan approach and Rutgers traditional color palette to balance neutrality, clarity, and visual impact.
